The summer is almost gone, school is starting and before long fall will be upon us. Now can be the perfect time to plan for Christmas events and gatherings. It's not as far away as you might think. So plan a nice family Christmas this year full of love and cheer and make it a Christmas to remember.
In America, Christmas Day is December 25th. But in many countries in Europe they celebrate in their own way at different times. Swedish people start there Christmas celebration December 13th. It begins on a very special day Holiday Saint Lucia Day. Lucia was a Christian woman and died for her faith. Sweden Christmas seems to differ from other European countries. Christmas Eve is known as "Julafton" in Sweden. Family's gather for a feast of ham, pork, fish, and sweets.

Holiday lights, New Years Day parades, caroling, outdoor skating, and Christmas themed theater events are just a few of the fun activities you will find in London this time of year.
