One alternative to buying many expensive gifts could be to create your own personalized Christmas gifts. Christmas crafts is a great way to show your family that you not only go out and buy a gift, but that you also think about them while doing it yourself. There are thousands if not millions of ideas for Christmas crafts out there; there are only a few here. You can create anything from a candy cane to a snowman. One of the many things you can create is a puzzle wreath ornament. Use some old puzzle pieces, paint them green and glue them together. Then decorate as desired. This is a great activity to do with your children.

You can also create personalized decorations for your Christmas tree or even a candy cane candle holder. This last one is especially easy to do. You just wrap candy cane sticks around a pillar candle and wrap them with a ribbon. Make sure to use hot glue for the candy canes to stick in place. Whatever you decide to do, just remember to keep your family in mind because it’s the thought that counts.
